TIGER COTTON
Tiger Cotton® supports conventional cotton farmers in their transition to organic farming. This initiative brings together evolving agricultural practices, support for farmers, and consideration for biodiversity in the regions involved.
This approach is reflected in a clothing collection made from 100% in-conversion organic cotton, with particular attention paid to quality, comfort, and finishing details.
The certifications and labels associated with the range, including EU Ecolabel, SA8000, and OEKO-TEX®, reflect assessment and verification processes covering different aspects of production, according to their respective criteria.

What Is the Connection Between Cotton and Tigers?
The Tiger Cotton® story began in Madhya Pradesh, India, a region where the first partner farmers cultivated their land near the natural habitat of the Bengal tiger.
The name Tiger Cotton® reflects this connection and highlights the importance of ecosystems in cotton-growing regions.
Initially launched as a pilot project in collaboration with WWF India, the programme has gradually expanded to support more farmers in their transition to organic farming.
The Tiger Corridor: A Region at the Heart of the Project
The first Tiger Cotton® project was established in an area located between two nature reserves, home to numerous small-scale cotton farmers.
Agricultural land in this region lies within areas that may be crossed by wildlife, including tigers moving between natural habitats.
By supporting farmers in adopting organic farming practices, the programme aims, in particular, to limit the use of synthetic pesticides prohibited in organic agriculture.
An approach that takes into account both agricultural activities and the challenges associated with preserving natural habitats.
Over 4,000 Farmers Supported in Their Transition
In the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Tiger Cotton® reports having supported more than 4,000 cotton farmers in their transition towards certified organic farming.
This figure illustrates the development of the programme and the work carried out with partner farming communities.
Beyond textile materials, Tiger Cotton® highlights an approach based on collaboration with farmers and the evolution of agricultural practices.
The Future Is Built Together with Farmers
Dialogue and direct collaboration with farmers are at the heart of the Tiger Cotton® approach.
By supporting farmers in their transition to organic farming, the programme seeks to encourage the adoption of new agricultural practices and assist with their implementation in the field.
Tiger Cotton® continues to expand into other regions of India, with the ambition of working with new groups of farmers and gradually extending its support programme.
